Zofran for Difficult to Treat OCD

Posted by GOLFER1983 on June 23, 2011, at 22:28:53

Hi Guys -

I'm 27 and have had OCD for about a year now. It came late onset. Before this was just standard anxiety and depression.

I've tried SSRI's, Anafranil, and Risperdal and Abilify. Anafranil, Risperdal, and Abilify worked but with intolerable side effects (dizziness and jaw, tongue stiffness).

Anyone tried Zofran or heard of it? It's being studied extensively for OCD at the moment. It's an anti nausea medicine.

The doctor said if this doesnt work we will try low dose Seroquel and then might try TMS treatments.
