Luvox has more drug interactions, and it was never heavily advertised in the english speaking world, where as Zoloft, Prozac, Lexapro etc were.

So partly its due to the drug interactions, and partly out of doctors being more exposed to advertising for the other drugs.

In Europe Luvox was more heavily used, though there it has also become less used because the newer SSRI's have better interation profiles
