I would love to go back to one of my other meds. I started taking emsam and as much as I would like to keep on with it, I'm having side effects. The problem is the 2 week washout, I'm so scared not to be one something for my depression. What does anyone do? Too scared to do it, so stuck. I think the meds could definitely have changed my chemistry, but then also found out from my doc (he already had some neurology article about adverse reactions) that it can change your brain chemistry, and can change your reaction to your meds! How weird, and surprising, it seems so innocuous, but everytime I had it done, my ears burned, weird, and I got really irritable. The last time I got really irritable, and couldn't stand any noises my poor husband made. It was crazy, and I was kinda scary :) Some people it works so well for, but I don't ever want to do it again!
