why adderall started working?

Posted by Cydnie on March 8, 2011, at 13:00:37

I was wondering if anyone would know the answer for me, I'm so lost about it. Years ago, my pdoc started me on dexedrine, adderall, all the different stims, and they all worked incredibly strong, but then the crash was the darkest despair in the world. I wasn't on any kind of AD at the time, so recently when I started adderall again and it worked with absolutely no mood crash, just being a little more tired as it eased out of my system, I was at first taking nortryptylene, then later pristiq. I never had that dreaded dark despair crash from it. Recently I started doing LENs treatments, and the despair crashes began not long after (all I could think of was it changed my brain chemistry somehow, and the AD wouldn't work to prevent a crash anymore???) Can anyone make sense of this, or have a similar experience, or any suggestions? I'm desperate! Thanks! Cydnie
