I was on 60 mg for depression. I also had/have anxiety but my main problem is depression. It did help both my depression and anxiety. I think for me anxiety and depression go together. I don't know it is the same as GAD.

It worth a try. I know you have been searching for a med for quite some time now. Are you on anything now?
