I wondered if I took the dose of Mirtazapine down to 1-2 mg if I would get the same lack of side effects as well as better sleep. Has anyone out there ever tried 1-2 mg Mirtazapine and what were your results?

For me, mirtazapine seems to induce sleep at about 6mg or more. Not exact of course, just bite a piece off a tablet. I experience some difficulty in waking up in the morning, but once I'm up I'm OK. It seems to increase appetite to some extent at any dose.
