Parnate Dosing Time? Feel lousy after taking it

Posted by alexcanada on July 14, 2010, at 17:37:30

Please, Please read... I tried countless meds and I am getting fed up with myself.

Here is the issue... Whenever I take 15 or 10mg parnate (since I take 2 doses a day) I feel pretty lousy afterwards. Mood drops, tiredness, hot headaches, current interests go away, motivation drops, hard to think clearly. Such as when I used to take it during noon & 6pm I would feel best before noon but especially better past midnight.

Now I take it 7am 15mg & 3pm 10mg. When I wake up at 5am I feel quite decent up until 10-30 mins after taking my 7am dose. What gives??? I would even begin to plan out my day and want to even Do Things! Imagine that. Plus my mind would flourish and I'd be thinking up longer words that I normally cannot along with my imagination being a bit more vivid. This is from the fact that the last time I took Parnate was at 3pm the previous day? Seems like it...

How many people successfully take all of their Parnate in the evening before bed? Or the majority of their dose? PLEASE let me know your experiences or any that you have heard.

Additional Info Below...

Parnate does help for my depression and other issues since the time when I was not on it I could not even function properly. The timing of the parnate dosing is what is odd.

I have treatment resistant depression with poor concentration, memory, drive, motivation, interest, and social anxiety.

Been taking Parnate 25mg a while along with valium, ritalin,.

I know 25mg seems like a tiny dose but any time I been on 30mg i would feel very sleepy and one of my hands went numb for almost a full month. I'm sensitive to meds.
