Have been taking Lorazepam 0.5 mg over last 3 months... Mainly in evenings to counter anxiety. Have not felt any side effects till as little as 4 days ago. Since past 4 days after taking my dose in evening as usual i have begun to experience hot flushes, rapid breathing and high heart rate.. Headaches which almost feel like all the somatic symptoms of am anxiety attack. Also have found it to be rather a bit more stimulating than usual... Yes it never made me sleepy minus the first few days at start up. Its effect on me has been clarity of thought, calmness and general improvement in mood.
What do i make of whats been happening.
Must mention that these past 4 days i have got just about half of my usual sleep due to certain work requirements.
I am also on 25x2 Milnacipran and would be starting Modafinil 100mg tomorrow onwards.
Is this some temporary thing or am i experience some paradoxical effects suddenly? I would have to go off Lorazepam as it has saved me from dark panic
