I will always take my lithium, but I just can't help but feel like we're all being turned into helpless infants by the pharmaceutical industry and doctors with questionable ethics.
Every day droves of mental health patients get enslaved by benzodiazepines, just like cigarettes.
Others seek to blame or credit every emotion on our medications. Others are obsessed with catecholamine neurotransmitter receptors and their agonists and antagonists. People think they know everything and it screams of hubris.
It's almost like people are not giving themselves permission to be themselves without consulting the PDR.
