Welcome to Psycho-Babble! Thanks for sharing your experiences with SSRI's. I had pretty severe apathy for a while, but I am unsure as to whether it was from the SSRI's or from my depression. Recently I've become productive and interested in life again and I've actually increased my SSRI. I increased Prozac to 60 mg from 40 mg and decreased Celexa from 30 mg to 20 mg.
Different SSRI's may make you feel differently too. My pdoc said Prozac is energizing.
