> Haven't tried the new Luvox CR which is approved for social phobia and OCD. Have been on prozac for quite a while and its not helping with generalized anxiety so much anymore. I'd like to have the least risk for sexual dysfunction and weight gain. Which option tends to work well for SAD/OCD/Depression (even if not listed). My doc said that people on Luvor CR have been doing well and did not discontinue their therapy, and that the new formulation was a significant advance.

We don't have Luvox CR here in Holland. Luvox was an effective antidepressant for me, but did little for my OCD and also made me apathetic. When I added just 10-25mg of clomipramine, the apathy would dissolve and my OCD really got a kick in the b u t t. Luvox inhibits clomipramine's metabolism in a way that boosts the mother drug over the noradrenergic metabolite. For me, it very helpful for depression as well as OCD. You may consider combining the two. I did have my clomipramine blood levels monitored at the time.
