Can you take Enada NADH w/ an MAOi (ie Parnate)?

Posted by JayBTV2 on March 7, 2010, at 10:26:55

Hello,

Just wondering if it's possible to combine Enada NADH with an MAOi.

I'm taking Parnate and occasionally get afternoon fatigue that MAOis are notorious for. I've been countering that with half a tab of Vivarin(caffeine) but sometimes that leaves me irritable later in the day. Especially on days where I have a few cups of coffee in the morning.

I took NADH back when they first released the ENADA version ('03?) but can't remember if it was effective or not.

Anyway just wondering if anyone has tried this combo or has any comments on whether it might or might not be a good idea.

If anyone has experience w/ NADH with other ADs I'd be interested in those anecdotes as well.

I take:

Parnate (60mg)
Lithium (450mg)
Lamictal (100mg)
Seroquel (100mg - sleep mainly)
Magnesium(not oxide) 400mg
Fish Oil

Thanks!

-Jay
