Yess the class of clacium channel blockers,and beta blockers are used for on label the heart.

My father uses one,it slows adranline down so the hart is not oever worked.

They usualy do two things in psych,offer additonal anxiety relieaf by slowing down adreanline,especialy if ur hands shake etc.

Also some,like pindolol are known to be used to potentiate meds,pindolol actualy had many studies on this.

As far as them being used as a monotherapy med,ive heard of this.Good luck
