Phillipa, thanks for the interesting post. I avoid tylenol because I think of it as fairly toxic for the liver. When I finally reach for my percocet (back pain) just half a tab, my mood and socialability improve. I chalked it up to opoid affect--I mean, yeah, it's like why people like heroin, right? But to see a similar response in another class of pain med is interesting far beyond my ability to scientifically appreciate. Thanks!
