Good point. I just want to add to that. The 10% unemployment is based on those who are still actively seeking work. It ignores all those that have given up, moved in with mom/dad, exhausted their benefits, etc.

The real unemployment rate is estimated to be 17%. If we look at the black american population, the unemployment rate is close to 50%.
