I'm sorry to hear you are having a rough time, and glad to see you get so much response to your post.
Lots of folks here are pulling for you.
Holidays are major stressors--they really are. For rejection sensitivity, therapy helps me. Others here are better able to address the med issue--ssri's used to help....(I also think quitting smoking is a big deal, esp if you've smoked for awhile--please don't underestimate it or all the other legitimate stress in your life.)
