MRI + depression

Posted by g_g_g_unit on December 6, 2009, at 17:20:07

do an MRI & EEG have any value as a diagnostic tools in treating depression? a neurologist i saw has ordered them; i was just wondering whether depressed activity in particular areas might help refine what to try medication-wise ..? alternatively, do they have any value in confirming an ADD diagnosis?
