Have you gotten any relief yet? My pdoc had suggested lamictal as well. Given you sensitivity to meds, maybe a small amount will do. I was advised that lamictal can take some time to work. Any one please feel free to contradict this with experience.
Xanax works in an emergency, but, as we all know, tolerance is an issue. I'm glad it's available to you to help get you through this.
