When does MAO level become too low?

Posted by FredPotter on November 8, 2009, at 18:18:18

So we keep bombarding this MAO-A and -B until we feel better or what? How much better? Parnate has made me feel worse, sleepy, weak, depressed, anxious, hardly able to walk because of sore stiff joints and locked back. I can't even get a plasma MAO-B level measured. MAO-A requires a spinal tap. Are the 2 correlated? Can we use the MAO-B level as an indicator of MAO-A? What happens if MAO-A is too low? Irritability, violence, self-harm, suicide? What on EARTH are we playing at?
