>>about anxierty on the 3rd week of escitalopram, will i miss this if i do a taper from the sertraline.as i am different to you.As my main issue is anxierty

manic, everyone is unique in how they might respond to medication side-effects. My main A/D for the past 15 years has been zoloft 100mg with a few other trials over the years.

3 weeks ago I switched from zoloft 100mg to escitalopram 20mg.... straight across - no tapering. That's how my pdoc changes my antidepressants and I have never experienced those terrible side-effects I read about (effexor brain zaps etc)

I was a bit light-headed for 2 or 3 days when I started the escitalopram but the anxiety is all but gone. So for me, escitalopram is working better to control my panic disorder than zoloft. That's my experience so I hope you have good results as well.

Take care,
Rick
