Why don't you go to N.A or C.A. meetings? (I've been going to A.A. for over 15 years).
I think you'd really like the meetings and they would help you so much with looking at your meds and addiction in a whole new way. They make you get off the blame-game and the pity-pot. You will grow in emotional/spiritual ways you never dreamed of. You could learn to be your own adult man!
It's made a world of difference to me!!Best wishes,
