thanks for your well wishes. last night i fell asleep at about 5am, and slept - in drips and drabs - until midday. i guess that means Parnate might have altered my sleep cycle. i'll give it a few more nights and see how i fare. i only spent a week at 50mg, so maybe with some adjustment i'd eventually sleep like i do now on 40mg. you're also right about rebound insomnia; i hadn't really taken that into account.
