I must agree with the other poster -- I understand the feelings, but the topic is not helpful to those who have been helped by Cymbalta.


That being said, it is very hard and harsh for some people to get off of SNRIs, much more than SSRIs.

Cymbalta and Effexor/Pristiq are known to have problems for some people in withdrawal.

I went through it and landed in a very bad depressive place. I'd rather not remember that time...

But this isn't about me... as for how long this will last, if you're completely off it, I'd say not more than another week or two, but I obviously can't predict anything for sure for anybody.


I do hope you have a plan for another antidepressant if you got off of this because you couldn't stand the side effects or it was not working -- the worst part would be slipping into depression than getting off of a SNRI.
