How can Adderall be completel nullified by Zyprexa

Posted by jerrypharmstudent on July 19, 2009, at 22:36:12

I'm taking:

Zyprexa 5mg
Adderall 20mg 3xdaily
Lexapro 30mg
Klonpin 1mg 4xdaily
Ambien

The Zyprexa has helped me tremendously since day one. Acted VERy fast but has left me completely lethargic. I noticed a couple days after starting the Zyprexa (which I have been on over a month now) that the Adderall stopped working all together. No matter how much I take I get no benefit and I NEED it's benefits now to combat the lethargy.

I know how Adderall works in the brain and I know that Zyprexa is a Dopamine antagonist but I've never had this effect with other Anti-psychotics +Stimulant. Could the Zyprexa be completely blocking the effects of the Adderall??

Can anyone shed some light on this? Much appreciation in advance.

Jerry
