Theres no easy answer, first off there are the WRITTEN rules,...then you have individual responses.

For example some indviduals become very sensative to it at the very start, having bp problems.

Some inviduals are able to add strong stumulants such as amphetamines to it,many as i cant.

So for the written rules, and as a starter in maois, yess you have to be awere, for instance i dodged a reaction with a drink my girl uses a lot which contains ginseng, always felt a headache when i drank it,then i stopped and the headaches stopped.

Also if youre anything but a social drinker,as in alcholol i would not suggest a maoi as you cannot drink consintly on them, many like myself will get away with the occasional drink at a party, but you dont wanna push it.

Working,i am a mass lifter, and i find parnate haults my energy at times,BUT on the same note i found parnate and caffiene tablets gave me such gains i no longer needed long workouts,my muscles and strentgh shot up.

So in essence, you should follow the rules at start and wait till you get the feel of the med before you push any buttons, everyone reacts differently to the do`s and dont`s of the maoi rules.good luck/
