Was taking 50 mgs of Seroquel at night, but anxieties are still extreme during the day so I to 50 mgs of seroquel to quiet my brain. Is this o.k.? Am worried about serotonin syndrome, but was thinking dosages would have to be higher. I am 5'2 and 120 lbs..

Are the "anxieties" due to the Paxil or do you have a anxiety spectrum disorder like GAD or panic?

It's partially body weight, but its more metabolism and sometimes ethnicity that determines how medications go through the system, especially the liver.

But 50mgs of Seroquel unless you really respond to it beyond sleep is really not a psychotropic dose. You'd have to get into 100+ to start, it has a wide dosage range.

So, no, that amount wouldn't nearly cause anything like SS. It's very common to combine an SSRI and an atypical if something like OCD can't be dampened alone by an SSRI.

So something like 20mgs of Paxil and 150 or so of Seroquel would be common.

Some people respond to Paxil at a very low dose, it depends a lot.
