if it were me i'd just call the pdoc office, tell them partial info (just that they thought the script was a forgery) and and see if he needs to write a new script or have it called in.
if they ask just tell the truth, that you didn't realize that you had a very old Rx and brought that in by mistake, then when you brought the good one in, they thought it fake.**************
about not taking it back then, well 1)it's your body, your choice 2)there's nothing that can be done now, so not sure if pdoc will get mad cuz obviously you are taking it now. and 3)maybe your pdoc is busy enough that he just wont care either way. but will have the office get you new Rx.Best luck link
