numerous reasons,first one is that raising dopamine is not the end of the story,There are various sites of dopamine.Dopamine is capable of being both inhiibtory and excitaory.Some people especialy true adhd people can fall asleep in mins of a dopamine pill,i seen it.
Part of the dopamine sites exsist a site where when too much dopamine is raised,it can induce psychoses,amabilify for example at low doses MODERATES dopamine in an attempt to make sure its sent to the right places,therefore its labled as a dopamine modlater.
None of these chemicals are simply as we think
