Oh my god! That seems like a lot of money. And I assume he charges a lot for follow up visits which you will need. Do you have insurance that will cover any of it? What a drag. It just isn't right that you have to be rich to get good medical care. Hope you can find a way to swing it. Maybe a one time consultation would be worth it but then you still have to find a "regular" doc. Ug.
Let us know what you're going to do. You must be bummer. I know I would be.
