> I would like to openly apologize to any poster that I may have upset by posting that study on bipolar. Didn't mean any harm. I was hoping for discussion and debate as I feel not all the studies done by docs are accurate. Again my sincerest apologies . You have a right to be angry at me if I hurt you. I can't take it back but at least I can apologize to all. Had no intention of hurting anyone. Love Phillipa

Hi Philipa,

In my opinion, you did nothing wrong and having nothing to apologize for. If people get upset over something you post when it is respectful, that is their problem, not yours.

Frankly, I think this issue needs to be discussed more. I know someone who has developed diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol from years of AP use. I know causation doesn't equal correlation but come on, to just gloss over that the drugs have any impact as alot of these articles were doing is just fantasy based.

Anyway, people need to know that the long term use of meds can lead to serious side effects. If they still want to take them, that is their choice but to deny this can happen and blame it all on the person's mental illness simply is wrong. Frankly, I am getting tired of that argument and feel it is used to keep from accepting that fact that drugs have serious side effects.
