Hey, there:
This is my first time posting but I need some advice from folks with experience. I have been on 12 MG of Emsam for a while now and its working for me really well. I work in a crazily high pressure job and the last couple of months have been worse than ever before. In the course of this stressful time, I have had several episodes of severe faintness and light-headedness, and I find this very frightening. One time I passed out and the people I work with called 911. Everything was totally fine -- blood pressure normal, etc -- and the EMTs said it was hyperventilation syndrome brought on by stress, panic, etc.
The thing is, it kind of will not go away and keeps happening usually suddenly. Sometimes the dizziness is preceded by a sudden sense that I'm smelling something burning. Its very scary because I just feel like people must be wrong and I'm having a stroke or something, which only feeds the anxiety.
Of course its obvious that Emsam might have something to do with why I'm having this reaction to stress, but I never realized that until yesterday. Emsam has worked so well for me I guess I just don't want to think it is responsible.
Has anyone out there had this experience with Emsam?
