Does the dosage stay the same or is there a tendency to have to take more or less of the XR version? How does the Xr feel different from the IR, especially for people who have to take the IR version more often then once a day?

Well let me know if you take it -- my doctor's opinion I believe that it is merely a patent extender as far as he has heard I assume from peers (Seroquel's patent expires in 2011).

IR's 6 hour half life doesn't generally affect the more important plasma life and thus taking it at night generally covers the day for people.
