Why Won't Thyroid Tsh Come Down From Over 11??

Posted by Phillipa on January 19, 2009, at 12:28:04

I know hashimotos thyroiditis is known for fluctuating but this is ridiculous as I faithfully never miss a dose or vary taking on empty stomach but just got recent results back again and TSH is still over 11 and a few months ago was under l? I've searched the internet. Hesitate to go to thyroid forums as they use alternative thyroid meds and both the two endo practices I've seen find synthroid superior can't fault the docs as even this one is getting concerned changed dose again and is now repeating bloodwork in four weeks instead of the normal eight. Is there an interaction between synthroid and valium as take them together endo said okay? The tiredness is overwhelming. Thanks Phillipa. Hence the bike riding at night to get some thyroid pumping and allow me to do my nightly work. Oh synthroid was grandfathered in never officially approved?
