..and I just love how the public thinks since the government approves something, it is safe and/or effective - the same who say since the government does not approve something, that it doesn't work and isn't safe
The main 'drug' prescribed in Germany for depression is St. John's Wort. Yet I had brought this up to a former physicatrist who said if [anything other than SSRIs, pharmaceuticals] worked, then "we" would be using them.
I'm not saying St. John's Wort is better or worse, just pointing out the irrationality and ridiculousness of it all..
