Perhaps the amitriptyline is exacerbating your anxiety. I would suggest discussing with you doctor to increasing your mood stablizer and cutting back on the AD. Tricyclics are notorious for causing hightened anxiety in some individuals. According to your cocktail, I suspect your doctor thinks you may have a underlying sub-type of bipolar. Anxiety that still persists after multiple trials of AD's should be looked into more closely.
