i take my zyprexa at 5:00/5:30 with dinner (so i don't forget). and i still have to take 1mg xanax hour before bed time.a few years ago when my "mania" was really high i was on 10mg zyprexa, 2mg xanax AND 20mg Ambien to get to sleep...
i think it does depend on the person, cuz i've heard a few here say that they felt like they got stuck with an elephant dart when taking even 5 zyprexa...some are only on 2.5mg zyprexa.

so assuming you respond as i have to the drug i wouldn't count on it for sleep aid. i think it might chill you a bit but won't MAKE you sleepy.and yes zyprexa rocks for me.
