bad sleep- sleep fragmentation and Slow Wave Sle

Posted by rotem on October 30, 2008, at 8:49:11

I'm 38 female. I have a very unrefreshing sleep- I sleep 8 hours and wake up tires.
the reasons are
1. sleep disturb breathing and sleep hypopnea-apnea which causes sleep fragmentation
2. too low Slow-Wave-Sleep (SWS) and bad sleep maintenance (or high sleep fragmentation) .

Also I suffer fro chrinuc hypotension. I always has a tendency toward systemic vasodilation, but in the last 5 years, it became very exaggerated.
So I have symptoms of vasodilation- chronic (not orthostatic) very low blood pressure (85/50) , nasal congestion (and sleep apnea) , increased exhaled nitric oxide and more (to those who know the subject..).
This exaggeration has many reasons, but I thinks it also because of many years of SSRI + shorts experiences with trazadone and more drugs. and also maybe depletion of adrenergic tonus?

So here are my question to you:
1.which drugs can decrease sleep fragmentation and increase SWS?
2.Do you know what can cause vasodilation, at the "root", and how to heal this?
