Most of my time is spent trying to get through school and worrying about how to get through everyday life. The stuff I see in the news doesn't affect me one way or the other - it's the stuff going on in my head that has got all my attention.

If you wait till you're "well again" to work on yourself, so to speak, you'll be spending your time on waiting.

I wish I worried a bit more about those things when I was in college -- I can't take back that I moved home instead of staying, but that's what taking advantage of a career counseling system that is at most schools, and the alumni associations. If we're talking about college and not high school, I don't know your age, just making an assumption based on how you're talking about it.

It's the fear of life that has you caught. It has me caught but I have a few years on you. And not to add more fear, but it will swallow you whole if you don't take advantage of campus services and the mental health care they offer.

Its a process, it doesn't happen overnight, but it probably requires some CBT and some therapy and medication if necessary to deal with the fear.

OCD can build up, but the OC thoughts can be chipped away at when they are examined with a rational look, that may require the help of an outsider (a therapist).

Do you feel alone or have ever felt alone? I'm just curious, since I go through a lot of issues myself. Or do you have a fair amount of friends around you?
