> As I said in my first post, I weaned down and now off of my celexa. I followed my doctors instructions and did this weaning over a 2 mos. period of time.

> On the third day, I started getting the brain zaps I talked about, which seem to be resolved now. I'm on day #7 today without any of the med in me and my anxiety is very very bad. It's all in my chest, my heart is racing, and I just feel terrible.
>
> Please someone tell me if this is normal, if it will go away, if so, when, and finally is there anything I can do to help it. I'm taking Xanax as needed, but it doesn't seem to be helping. The anxiety is brutal and I can't seem to get rid of it even with the Xanax... I'm actually yawning as I type here from the Xanax sedation, yet the anxiety hasn't been touched. Thanks to anyone who can help me.. Lisa

It will get better....Be careful with the xanak, because that titrate is worse than Cylexa...I would drink lots of water, chamomile tea, eliminate coffee, and B vitamins for now, and exercise. Try to get some aerobic activity in. The worst part is over from the Celexa, but I know the anxiety can be rough.
