Some people have a difficult time with Effexor discontinuation. Others have no symptoms. The key is gradual decrease in dose. There are also reports of adding Prozac to minimize the discontinuation syndrome. How many milligrams of Effexor are you currently taking?

Now after reading more about it, it scares the ,,,out of me that I've even been on it for the short time that I have!!
