Lexapro - Remeron combo - what to do?

Posted by hansi555 on August 16, 2008, at 12:28:46

Hi all

After trying out high dosage Remeron on its own with a various success, I have added Lexapro 10 weeks ago, gradually reducing Remeron from 60 mg to currently 37,5 and upping Lexapro from 10 to 15 mg.
However I cant seem to find a balance which will give me a constant relief - I can have 1 or maybe 2 godd weeks, then 1 or 2 weeks not-so-good weeks.
Everytime I increase the Lexapro I get nausea, loss of appetite etc. - even though I upp the dosage very slowly. When I was on 55-60 mg Remeron and 10 mg Lexapro I was too tired, it was too much in total.
But now my mood seems to suffer, so I should either up the Remeron again or upp the Lexapro.

Any comments much appreciated...

I am suffering from a unipolar depression due to stress, it started more then 8 months ago
