Well first welcome to babble lots of great folks here with a lot of knowledge. I have no idea why your doc started you on cymbalta at such a high dose. I feel you will get a lot of responses on that one as mine started me on 30mg and then 60mg. Still took benzos valium. Med just didn't work for me. But for a lot of folks that have very positive experiences on cymbalta. Good luck Phillipa
