Doctor wants me to quit EMSAM after 5 weeks

I have had no benefit from this drug. If anything it has made me worse. Do you think I should give it 3 more weeks or rip it off? I read that you have to give a drug 8 weeks, but my doctor seems to think that if I'm feeling worse then it's time to quit.
Any suggestions?
