I agree. I did not find the psych ward a conducive environment for any kind of healing or recovery. I think it is maybe a decent attempt at some kind of approach to handle, stabilize, stall, or interrupt some severe emergency situation, but other than that it doesn't serve any purpose. Some people, including me, get a glimmer of hope thinking of going to the hospital, like somehow something magical will happen there, or like somehow the doctor will be better than street doctors. Not. Not from what I've seen anyway. More often than not I think it is a false deceptive hope that ends with disappointing results.
