i've heard from several pdocs that ADD/ADHD and Bipolar go hand in hand. so if you have bipolar its very common that you will also have ADD/ADHD.
as for differentiating between the two i think primarily it has to do with the duration of symptoms.
ADD/ADHD short occurrances, minutes, hours maybe even a day; Bipolar duration lasts for days/weeks/months, etc.b2c.
