It's hard to know what to say, but based on what you've written here, it does sound as though a mood stabilizer is a good idea for you. Whether or not Depakote is the best bet, that's something you kinda have to figure out by trial and error.
Do you talk to your psychologist about your disordered eating? If not, I urge you to do so -- eating disorders are notoriously difficult to treat if they go on more than a few months. It's far better to address that now, and it will save you years of suffering.
