I take Risperdal as needed. I've been on as much as 1 1/2 mg a day. When I go off it, I don't notice any particular withdrawal other than a renewal of the symptoms I had when I started. Perhaps a slight tearfulness.
I'm on it for occasionally severe anxiety.
That's just my experience, and not necessarily representative.
