Lexapro - Appetite supression??

Posted by cmorhoun on January 29, 2008, at 15:30:59

I have the seemingly unique reaction to SSRIs of loosing my appetite rather than increasing it. I say this though, without making it past a two month trial period on any of them due to extreme sensetivities and side effects.

I'm simply curious if anyone has found Lexapro to initially have an appetite supressing action only to have it turn into an appetite increasing action over time. I've tried it before and lost my appetite on it but again, didn't make it past 2 months. I'm going to give it another go though.

I'm also curious if people have found the stomach troubles to go away after a few months. Thanks
