Back when I was still trying single drug therapy, I was going through some wicked bad withdrawal from paxil. My pdoc at the time liked to give me a few weeks between meds when I'd switch to help clear out my system, but things were so bad he started me on wellbutrin almost right away.

In retrospect, that time when I had some paxil left in me as well as the wellbutrin was maybe one of the best experiences I had on meds. But hindsight is 20:20, each of those meds were horror stories for me in single drug therapy, and my current cocktail is working fairly well. I ain't gonna try it.

But as was said above, SSRI + wellbutrin is a common combination that works well for a lot of people. You could be one of them.
