I've tried all the ssris. They all hurt my sex in one way or another. The least offensive was prozac. Second least offensive was lexapro. The worst were zoloft and paxil.

I never liked zoloft. It made me feel bad right from day one. It did however shut down my anxiety the very first day. Remeron was decent for evening anxiety after dosing, but the norepinephrine component increased anxiety in the morning.

Remeron was ok but I never got over 15mg. It was mainly a sleep aid and an augmentor of prozac. As an augmentor at that dose, it really didn't help much. For sex it might have helped a wee little bit, though the sedation kind of muted that. I took remeron for a long time and the morning hangover never went away. Heavy sedation lasted all day for at least a month, and after I got used to it the sedation still lasted well into the afternoon.

But for some zoloft is a miracle. For some remeron is a miracle. You know how it is. You can hear from a hundred different people what these drugs were like to them, but it is no indication whatsoever of how they would be with you.
